PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a specific component at an efficiency higher than that in the conventional technique. SOLUTION: A method for recovering a specific component includes: a freezing step of freezing a liquid containing a specific component; a concentration step of locally fusing the freezed matter obtained in the freezing step, and successively moving the fused part to a fixed direction to concentrate the specific component; an adsorption step of recovering the specific component from the concentrate obtained by the concentration step; and a separation step of separating the specific component obtained by the adsorption step from an adsorbent.
