PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition excellent in heat resistance, water resistance and weather resistance that cannot be attained by conventional epoxy resin compositions, and a cured product thereof. SOLUTION: The alicyclic epoxy compound is represented by general formula (I). The epoxy resin composition comprises the alicyclic epoxy compound. The cured product is obtained by curing the epoxy resin composition.
