PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator for an elevator improved in assemblability by facilitating an adjusting operation required when a lens is attached to a box. SOLUTION: This indicator for an elevator is installed on the end rail of a jamb at an elevator landing or in a car and displays the position and the operating direction of the car. The indicator for an elevator includes a display for displaying the operating conditions of the car, the box for storing the display, and the lens which is fixed to the box and which covers the display to form the design surface of the indicator. The box comprises a lock mechanism having a claw and a lens holder for fixing the lens by holding. The lens is fixed to the box by the lock mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
