The component has a thermistor (400) comprising electrodes. Two sides of the electrodes are clamped between two contact elements such that contact points of the two contact elements contact with the two electrodes, respectively. Distance between the contact points of one of the contact elements is different from that of the contact points of the other electrode. The points of the former element are arranged at an angle of 180 degree relative to a center part of the thermistor that is designed as a ceramic positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor.
