The device has rear and front bonnets (12, 14) designed as hard-shell covers, comprising pivot axes (22, 24) adjusted between separation and open positions of the device. The pivot axes are moved along a guide link (50) when the bonnets are adjusted. Pivot arms (18, 20) are adjusted about one of the pivot axes between the separation and open positions and another pivot axis is pivotally mounted at the bonnets. A guide device comprises a pin (44) and a guide element i.e. rotary-linear bearing, which interacts with corresponding cam tracks (40, 42) and a guide track.
