<p>Disclosed are a dynamo-electric machine and a stator that can reduce cogging torque by means of an improvement with respect to the deformation of a stator core. In the stator (10)-which comprises a stator core (11) affixed to the inner periphery of a tubular frame (15) formed from layering electromagnetic steel sheets, and a coil (18) wound around the stator core (11)-the dimensions in the axial direction of the frame (15) are formed to be greater than the dimensions in the axial direction of the stator core (11), and reinforcing rings (14, 16) are provided that reinforce the frame (15) from within and that are provided on the inside of the frame (15) on both ends in the axial direction of the stator core (11). Also, the stator (10) of the dynamo-electric machine (1) is provided with reinforcing rings (14, 16). Preferably, the end surfaces of the reinforcing members protrude beyond the end surfaces of the frame.</p> |
