摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side collision determination device for a vehicle and a high voltage power supply shut-off device, advantageous to surely determine a side collision of the vehicle, while effectively making the most of a space in a cabin and reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: This high voltage shut-off device 20 includes right and left acceleration sensors 12 and 14, an ECU 22, a switch 24 and a main relay 26. This side collision determination device selects the acceleration sensor installed on a side surface on a non-collision side when a portion where a collision occurs is in the vicinity of either one of the right and left acceleration sensors 12 and 14 when the collision against the side surface of the vehicle 10 occurs, and selects the acceleration sensor installed on the side surface on a collision side when a portion where a collision occurs is a portion closer to a rear side of the side surface of the vehicle 10 away from the right and left acceleration sensors 12 and 14, to determine the presence or absence of the collision based on the detected acceleration.
