<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system capable of preventing an unexpected locking operation of a door in connection with reduction in a remaining battery power in a mobile device. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular control unit 12 controls locking for locking the door 1a of a vehicle when the state of receiving an answer signal from the mobile device 3 is shifted to the state of not receiving. The mobile device 3 includes a driving battery 25 and a measuring means 26 for detecting the residual battery power. When the measuring means 26 detects the residual battery power being equal to or less than a predetermined amount, a mobile device control unit 22 transmits the answer signal including information to that effect.
