IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a program where a time required for image formation can be shortened.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes a scan line drawing part 9. The scan line drawing part 9 includes: a descriptor interpretation part 21 which adds a pixel length value of a top copy command and a pixel length value of a fill command to a pointer value of the top copy command and adds the pixel length of copy commands included in a command group and the pixel length of the fill command to the pointer value of the top copy command till the added pointer value does not coincide with a pointer value of a succeeding copy command; and a DMA part 22 which reads image data corresponding to pixels included between the pointer value of the top copy command and the added pointer value from a system memory 3 when the added pointer value does not coincide with the pointer value of the succeeding copy command.
