<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine structure made of a glass which achieves the further miniaturization of the structure itself, and has excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: In the fine structure with one or a plurality of cylindrical fine spaces opening to either side, the average thickness (T) of partitions partitioning the one or the plurality of fine spaces is 20 to 350μm, and, a glass sintered compact is used as a base material. The aspect ratio (D/T) of the depth (D) of the one or the plurality of fine spaces to the average thickness (T) of the partitions is preferably controlled to 2 to 25. The glass sintered compact is preferably formed by the firing of a composition including glass particles and a silicone resin as a binder therefor. Further, preferably, the glass sintered compact is composed of the glass particles and a binding material between the glass particles, and the binding material includes a silicon oxide as the main component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
