<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack, electronic equipment, equipment system, a control method for a battery pack cooling unit, and a program, capable of increasing the value of electric current that becomes available for supply by cooling a battery cell. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack includes a battery cell 2, a temperature detection unit 10 configured to detect a temperature of the battery cell, a cooling unit 14 configured to cool down the battery cell, an information reception unit 42 configured to receive first information whether electronic equipment is compatible with the cooling unit from the electronic equipment 20 that is supplied with power from the battery cell, and a cooling function control unit 44 configured to switch ON and OFF of the cooling unit depending on the temperature that is detected in a case where the electronic equipment is compatible with the cooling unit, and to keep a drive of the cooling unit OFF in a case where the electronic equipment is incompatible with the cooling unit, based on the first information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
