<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device for a wheel, setting an end face on the opposite side to an extension part of an inner ring body as a reference surface and allowing simultaneous polishing of the reference surface, an inner ring raceway surface, an outer peripheral surface of a collar part and the outer peripheral surface of the extension part while improving sealing performance with an outside seal member. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device for the wheel includes an outer ring member 31, an inner ring member 40, and double rows of rolling elements 34, 35. The inner ring body 50 formed with one raceway surface 51 is assembled to the outer peripheral surface of one end of the inner ring member 40. A stepped part 56 between the collar part 52 and the extension part 58 of the inner ring body 50 is formed into a tapered surface. The reference surface 50a of the end face of the inner ring body 50, the inner ring raceway surface 51, the outer peripheral surface 55 of the collar part 52, and the outer peripheral surface 59 of the extension part 58 are simultaneously polished. A cover member 80 is assembled to the outer peripheral surface of one end of the outer ring member 31. A seal member 90 coming in sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface 59 of the extension part 58 of the inner ring body 50 is disposed at an inner diameter cylinder part 85 of the cover member 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
