PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle obtaining light distribution distributed further uniformly in a lateral direction compared with the prior art. SOLUTION: The headlight 1 for the vehicle includes a reflector 5 with a reflecting surface 51 opened to the vehicle front and divided in a plurality of reflecting regions 510 in vertical and lateral directions. Light from filaments 41 of a bulb 4 is reflected by each reflecting region 510 of the reflecting surface 51 and transmitted through a transparent light-transmitting cover 3 to irradiate the vehicle front.
