PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest easy in assembling-installation by reducing the number of part items, and restraining generation of an abnormal sound. SOLUTION: The armrest 4 rotates around an installation shaft 11 between a storage attitude and a use attitude. A guide holding mechanism 16 for holding the armrest 4 in the storage attitude is arranged between an armrest frame 12 and a mounting bracket 15. The guide holding mechanism 16 includes a guide pin 20 moving on a circular arc and a guide groove 21. A movement regulating means 30 is arranged in the guide groove 21, for holding the armrest 4 in the storage attitude by regulating the movement of the guide pin 20. The movement regulating means 30 includes a fitting member 31 having a regulating part 32 for holding by being elastically deformed when the guide pin 20 abuts and an outside installing part 36 installed on the mounting bracket 15.
