PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of suppressing deterioration of conveying accuracy, and also provide a printing device. SOLUTION: This conveying device includes a conveying roller which is cylindrically formed and which comprises a joint so that the pair of mutually facing end parts of a sheet metal are allowed to be close to or brought into contact with each other and on the surface of which a high abrasion layer is formed for conveying a medium to be conveyed and support parts for supporting the portions of the conveying roller coming out of the high abrasion layer so that the conveying roller can be rotated about the center axis.
