Disclosed is a solar cell which provides excellent volume productivity, and which grants a margin in the control of the depth of a groove when removing a translucent insulating layer after the translucent layer is formed on the entire surface of a transparent conductive film. The solar cell is provided with: an n-type amorphous silicon layer (11) which is formed on the surface-side of an n-type single crystal silicon substrate (10); a surface-side transparent conductive film (12) which is formed on the n-type amorphous silicion layer (11); a p-type amorphous silicon layer (13) formed on the undersurface-side of the substrate (10); and an undersurface-side transparent conductive film (14) formed on the p-type amorphous silicon layer (13). The solar cell is provided with a surface-side collector electrode (30) which is formed by deposition on the surface-side transparent conductive film (12), as well as collector electrodes (4) which are formed on the undersurface-side transparent conductive film (14) by printing. |
