Disclosed is a biometric sound testing device provided with: a biometric sound measurement unit (101) which measures biometric sounds on the basis of vibration propagated through the body of a patient; a power calculation unit (2301) which calculates the power of a first biometric sound, being one of two differing biometric sounds measured during the same period by the biometric sound measurement unit (101), and the power of a second biometric sound, being the other of said two biometric sounds; a power comparison unit (2300) which compares the first power, being the power of the first biometric sound calculated by the power calculation unit (2301) and the second power, being the power of the second biometric sound, and calculates a comparison result showing the ratio of or the difference between the first power and the second power; and a determination unit (2304) for determining whether or not the position of biometric sound measurement by the biometric sound measurement unit is appropriate by comparing the comparison result calculated by the power comparison unit with a threshold value. |
