<p>A relay apparatus comprises: a first control unit for connecting to a first network; a second control unit for connecting to a second network the type of which is different from the type of the first network; and a relay unit for switching paths by selecting, from the first and second networks, a path, which is to serve as a currently used system, on the basis of information related to the first network and information related to the second network. The second control unit converts a transport unit, which is to be transmitted via the first network, to a transport unit, which is to be transmitted via the second network, and transmits the latter transport unit to the second network.</p> |
