<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket capable of easily hitting an egg ball or spinning ball, capable of suppressing rolling or pitching of the racket when hits the ball, and capable of improving the ball controllability on the whole. <P>SOLUTION: Gut surfaces 3A and 3B are double-layered with a prescribed space between them in a frame 2 of the racket 1. The gut surfaces 3A and 3B are fixed to each other at the center, and the respective gut surfaces 3A and 3B are formed as dented arc faces denting toward their respective center.
