<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for enhancing accuracy of determining human sensations based on electroencephalogram signals. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 2 for determining human sensations is equipped with a biological measurement device 4 and an operation part 14. The biological measurement device 4 is configured to measure the electroencephalogram signals and mioelectric signals of a human. The operation part 14 is configured to calculate an electroencephalogram restoration signal, to determine a characteristic value of the electroencephalogram restoration signal by analyzing a frequency of the electroencephalogram restoration signal, and to determine an objective evaluation corresponding to the characteristic value. The electroencephalogram restoration signal is configured to be calculated from the electroencephalogram signal based on the electroencephalogram signal and the mioelectric signal by an independent component analysis (ICA). In the method of determining human sensations, the electroencephalogram restoration signal is calculated by applying the independent component analysis (ICA) on the measured electroencephalogram signal.
