<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel oil-and-fat splitting microorganism and the like capable of highly efficiently treating oil-and-fat-containing waste water. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-and-fat splitting microorganism, Serratia marcescens KY29 strain (FERM P-21888), is provided. The oil-and-fat splitting microorganism has high oil-and-fat splitting ability as well as high affinity to carriers such as resin made contacting materials and the like and, additionally, excellent ability in symbiosis with other microorganisms. A microorganism-immobilization carrier on which the oil-and-fat splitting microorganism belonging to the genus Serratia and having oil-and fat splitting ability is immobilized, a method for treating waste water using the oil-and-fat splitting microorganism or the microorganism-immobilization carrier, and a system for treating waste water having the oil-and-fat splitting microorganism or the microorganism-immobilization carrier are also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
