PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing operation type electric component capable of efficiently carrying out a removing work of an operation knob snap-coupled with its lower end placed in a front panel. SOLUTION: A seesaw switch 1 is made by snap-coupling a base knob 12 supported turnably on a standing wall part 5i of a case 5 with a decorating knob 13 as an outer package to have an operation knob 10, which is swingably exposed in an opening 51a of a front panel 51. The decorating knob 13 is provided with elastic legs 14, 15 hung down with locking pawls 14a, 15a protruded inward, and the locking pawls are locked and attached on an outer edge part of the base knob 12. A rest part 15b protruded outward is fitted at the elastic leg 15, and a round hole 5c of the case 5 is placed at a lower part of the rest part 15b. When the decorating knob 13 is removed, the elastic leg 15 can be pressed and bent outward while regulating its position by inclining the decorating knob 13 by pushing in the rest part 15b with a jig 60 from the round hole 5c side.
