PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a substance having an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production promoting action from among natural extracts with high safety, to provide an ATP production promoter containing the substance as an effective ingredient, and to provide a preventive and therapeutic agent of diseases caused by a fall of ATP production amount including the ATP production promoter. SOLUTION: This ATP production promoter includes one or two or more kinds selected from the group consisting of an oyster extract, a royal jelly protein hydrolysate, a Piper longum extract, a Panax ginseng extract and a pulverized product of matured Allium sativum, as effective ingredients.
