PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meandering-correction roller with an enhanced meandering-correction performance. SOLUTION: The meandering-correction roller has a plurality of projection portions 11 on an outer circumferential surface 2a, extending in the circumferential direction. The projection portion 11 has a contact surface 11a in contact with a film F and is elastically deformable with a biasing force from the film F. Accordingly, the projection portion 11 undergoes large elastic deformation at the portion where the biasing force is large in the axial direction, thereby it can come into contact with the film F even at a portion with a small biasing force. This makes the area of the contact surface 11a that can come into contact with the film F to be wider in the meandering correction. Thus, the meandering-correction roller 2 ensures sufficient frictional force and accurately corrects meandering by sufficiently ensuring the area in contact with the film F during meandering, which enhances the meandering-correction performance.
