Disclosed is a fish preserve (1) in which the net is prevented from abrading, and the tension which acts on the side net is equalized. The fish preserve (1) is provided with: a rectangular upper frame (10) which is disposed on the ocean surface; a side mesh (40), the upper edge of which is affixed to the upper frame (10), and which is in the shape of a truncated quadrangular pyramid; a bottom frame (30) which is formed in the shape of a rectangle that fits within the upper frame (10) and which is attached to the bottom edge of the side mesh (40); and a bottom mesh (50) which is stretched and disposed within the bottom frame (30). The side mesh (40) is formed from a mesh which is configured by arranging a plurality of wire rods in parallel and by linking the adjacent wire rods. Moreover, the plurality of wire rods, which configures the side mesh (40), is disposed between the upper frame (10) and the bottom frame (30) so as to be perpendicular to the upper frame (10) and the bottom frame (30). |
