The invention relates to a process for continuously producing profile components (13) of fibre composite material by means of a forming chain system. The invention also relates to an associated profile component (13) and also to the forming chain system for continuously producing it. The process according to the invention draws on the forming chain system according to the invention having at least one forming chain (1, 2). Here, a preform batch (5) of fibre strands (6) impregnated with matrix material and/or woven fibre webs, knit webs or nonwoven webs (6) is brought to the system at the working run (21, 22) of the at least one forming chain and is guided through the forming chain system, forming a continuous profile (17) containing the profile component (13). The invention is distinguished by the fact that it is also possible to continuously produce profile components (13) with a variable cross section over the profile length and/or with a profile longitudinal axis with virtually any desired extent. The profile components (13) can be provided with local reinforcements (10), add-on parts or inserts (9), for example for introducing force, as early as during primary forming. |
