<p>A method and system for implementing the protection switching of protection groups are provided in the present invention. In the method, a network management system receives the protection switching events which are transmitted by the protection controller after the protection controller executes the protection switching of the protection groups; the network management system checks whether all of the protection switching of the protection groups is successful according to the protection switching events; if the protection switching of the protection groups is not all successfully executed, the network management system informs the protection controller to repetitively execute the protection switching of the protection groups of which the protection switching is not successfully executed. According to the technical solution of the present invention, the problem that the service can not be successfully switched because of various reasons in related technologies is resolved, and then the success rate of the protection switching of the protection groups is effectively enhanced.</p> |
