<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic recording device and elementary hologram forming method, for forming an elementary hologram with a simple optical system. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam emitted from a laser light source is enlarged in a beam diameter to be pseudo-collimated, and then is vertically made incident on a recording layer 15 of a holographic recording medium 14 from one surface side of the holographic recording medium 14, as reference light being a spherical wave. The reference light transmitted through the recording layer 15 is pseudo-collimated and is converted into signal light by spatial modulation using a reflective spatial light modulator 36R (36G and 36B). The signal light is collimated and then is condensed on the recording layer 15 as a spherical wave toward a position at which the reference light intersects the recording layer 15, from the other surface side of the holographic recording medium 14 and is vertically made incident on the recording layer 15 to interfere with the reference light, whereby an elementary hologram is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
