<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine for vehicles wherein a semiconductor package can be replaced at the time of failure and the like. <P>SOLUTION: Each rectifier modules 5X of a generator 1 for vehicles includes an output terminal 45 through which a current passing between MOS transistors 50 and stator windings 2, 3 is passed, and communication terminals 46 for inputting/outputting electrical signals. A terminal block 10 includes a current input/output terminal electrode 210 connected to the output terminal 45 and an interconnection terminal electrode 200 connected to the communication terminals 46. The rectifier modules 5X are fixed on any of a rear frame 60 for holding a stator, a cooling member that is electrically connected to the rear frame 60 and cools the MOS transistors 50 and so on, and the terminal block 10 by a detachable fixing means. The output terminal 45 and the current input/output terminal electrode 210 are detachably connected with each other.
