<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens molding mold for molding a lens which can be attached to a lens holder without carrying out burr removal processing after molding, a lens molding method, the lens, and a pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: The lens molding mold has a first mold for molding the first lens surface of the lens and a second mold for molding the second lens surface of the lens. In the contact face of at least one of the first and second molds which contacts with the other mold part, an air vent groove is formed.
