<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle in which transmission and reception sensitivity of an anti-theft device can be enhanced, and storage capacity of a storage box cannot be affected. <P>SOLUTION: In a motorcycle 10, a vehicle body front cover 33 is provided around a head pipe 11 to cover the head pipe 11. An article storage box 32 is provided to the vehicle body front cover 33 to expand forward of a vehicle, and the anti-theft device 36 is arranged above the article storage box 32 and in the vicinity of an upper end part of the head pipe 11.
