<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of securing stacking performance while effectively utilizing a discharge space even when a sheet is curled. <P>SOLUTION: An apex portion 50a supporting the sheet and extending in a direction crossing a sheet discharge direction is provided to a discharge tray 50 downstream in the sheet discharge direction with respect to the center of gravity of the sheet discharged on the discharge tray 50. An upstream portion in the sheet discharge direction of the sheet with respect to a downstream end in the sheet discharge direction of the sheet stacked on the discharge tray 50 is pushed downward by an image reading apparatus 60 at the downstream portion in the sheet discharge direction with respect to the apex portion 50a of the discharge tray 50. While the upstream end of the sheet in the sheet discharge direction is pressed by a flag 25, the downstream portion in the sheet discharge direction of the sheet is bent with the apex portion 50a of the discharge tray 50 as a fulcrum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
