<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique concerning a chopper circuit employing a soft switching operation. <P>SOLUTION: The chopper circuit employs a soft switching operation which controls, by controlling the switching timing of an auxiliary switching element, a voltage to be applied for turning on a main switching element. The chopper circuit includes: an input section where a main turn-on signal for turning on the main switching element and an auxiliary turn-on signal for turning on the auxiliary switching element are input; and a prohibition section for prohibiting the main switching element from being turned on if the auxiliary turn-on signal is not input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
