PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oil-resistant paper controlling foaming to prevent the lowering of operability, when a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin oil-resistant agent is dissolved, preventing the lowering of the operability due to the foaming of a coating, when the oil-resistant layer coating is coated, controlling the generation of surface defects to give excellent oil resistance, and having high safety. SOLUTION: In the oil-resistant paper in which at least one oil-resistant layer is disposed on at least one side of a paper support, an oil-resistant agent used in at least one of the oil-resistant layers is a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, and the oil-resistant layer contains polyoxyethylene(3 to 10 moles added) polyoxypropylene (25 to 35 moles added) block polymer in an amount of 0.01 to 1.0 pt.mass per 100 pts.mass of the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin.
