PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct type air conditioner including a filter capable of reducing costs by reducing members disposed on a suction opening, simplifying a filter mounting/demounting work, and coping with variety in size of a body with small variety of filters. SOLUTION: A second filter unit 20 is composed of a frame body 21a, a center frame 21b, and a plurality of guard frames 21c longitudinally installed while intersecting with the center frame 21b for preventing insertion of human hand and fingers, and further composed of a filter 22. The frame body 21a is temporarily fixed to a sucking section by a locking claw 21d and a loading claw 21e, so that the mounting work can be easily performed. Further by changing combination of a first filter unit having a lateral width larger than the second filter unit 20, and the second filter unit 20 on a timely basis, the filter unit can be adapted to bodies of various lateral widths.
