<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization unit for passing a sulfide-containing gas into a desulfurization tower storing a desulfurization agent, and making the desulfurization agent adsorb and remove hydrogen sulfide in the sulfide-containing gas, by which the desulfurization agent filled in the desulfurization tower is used for gas adsorption at a high rate, and the replacement frequency of desulfurization agent is reduced without reducing the gas adsorption efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The desulfurization agent annularly filled in an inner peripheral wall area of the desulfurization tower located on the gas outlet side in a desulfurization agent-filled portion in the desulfurization tower and in an inner peripheral wall area of the desulfurization tower located at an intermediate part between the gas inlet side and the gas outlet side in the desulfurization agent-filled portion, has a shape different from the desulfurization agent filled in the other area in the desulfurization agent-filled portion in the desulfurization tower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
