PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a shopper to select a voice for guiding an operation method by a plurality of voice factors including sound quality, sound volume, tone quality, etc. thereby achieving voice guide matched with an individual shopper. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a voice selection setting part which enables the shopper to select any one of a plurality of voice factors including the quality, how to speak, a speaking speed and sound volume of a voice for guiding a method of registration/settlement operation and guides the registration/settlement operation method by the voice according to the voice information of the selected voice factor.
