PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's operability in selecting a paper feed tray being a paper feeder, out of a plurality of paper feed trays wherein alternative papers are set, and also, to improve the user's discrimination performance to discriminate the paper feed tray causing an error and a group to which the paper feed tray belongs. SOLUTION: Regarding the multi function machine, in such a case where there are two or more paper feed trays wherein the alternative papers are set and not causing the error among the plurality of paper feed trays, selection buttons representing the two or more paper feed trays (alternative tray group) are displayed on a display part so that the user selects the selection buttons. If the paper feed trays belonging to the alternative tray group causes the error, the paper feed tray causing the error is excluded from the alternative tray group displayed on the display part.
