PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form intermittent feazed area parts on an optical fiber tape core at a low cost by a simple manufacturing means or process. SOLUTION: Ultraviolet optical intensity is given, with alternated modulations, onto optical fiber cores, which are conveyed in the longitudinal direction, by an ultraviolet optical intensity modulating device, the optical fiber cores being coated with an ultraviolet-curable resin, to alternately form high intensity ultraviolet-cured coated parts and low intensity ultraviolet-cured coated parts in the longitudinal direction. An optical fiber tape core is formed by arranging in parallel the optical fiber cores which are formed in the above process. The optical fiber tape cores are stranded together, and the shapes of the tapes are maintained by the high intensity ultraviolet-cured coated parts of the optical fiber tape cores, and the shapes of the tapes are feazed by making the low intensity ultraviolet-cured coated parts cracked and come apart, in a low intensity ultraviolet-cured coated layer parts, to put each of the optical fiber cores in a feazed state.
