PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle including an anti-theft device enhancing transmit-receive sensitivity and exerting no influence on the storage capacity of a storage box. SOLUTION: A motorcycle 10 includes a vehicle body frame 15; a head pipe 11 included in the vehicle body frame 15; a steering shaft 17 insertedly fitted into the head pipe 11; a steering handle 18 disposed at the upper end of the steering shaft 17; and a front vehicle body cover 33 for covering the head pipe 11 which is disposed around the head pipe 11. The front vehicle body cover 33 includes the article storage box 32 formed swellingly toward the front of the vehicle. A flat surface 81 substantially horizontal to an external surface 73 of the article storage box 32 is formed. The anti-theft device 36 is attached to the flat surface 81.
