The invention relates to a method for determining the flatness of a metallic strip (1) in a rolling mill and a corresponding rolling mill. Said rolling mill comprises an inlet side and an outlet side and said method comprises the following steps: the profile (20) of the metallic strip (1) on the inlet side is measured, the profile (30) of the metallic strip (1) on the outlet side is measured and the flatness of the metallic strip (1) is determined and/or evaluated by means of the measured profile (20) of the metallic strip (1) on the inlet side (20) and the measured profile (30) of the metallic strip (1) on the outlet side. As a result, in order to evaluate the flatness, the profile determination of the metallic strip (1) is used, additional flatness measuring devices such as flatness measuring rollers are no longer required. |
