<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body capable of perceiving a state of a tire in travelling. <P>SOLUTION: This moving body 1 includes: a detecting section (an outer peripheral information detecting section 51) for detecting outer peripheral information of a tire 21 of a wheel 20; a determining section 52 for comparing the outer peripheral information of the tire 21 intermittently detected by the detecting section with the outer peripheral information of the tire for reference to determine a state of the tire 21 based on a result of the comparison. Especially, the moving body 1 is a coaxial motorcycle which performs inversion control by controlling drive of the wheel 20, and includes a vehicle body 10, on which a user rides.
