<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a functional member on a roof, which enables a cost saving and the shortening of a construction period. <P>SOLUTION: This structure is used to mount the functional member 4 on the roof 3 with a long mounting portion 1 and a long valley portion 2. A rail 5 for supporting the functional member 4 is attached along a longitudinal direction of the mountain portion 1. The functional member 4 is placed on a supporting portion 6 which is protruded above the valley portion 2 from the rail 5.
