<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a base network to easily take part in a virtual private network. <P>SOLUTION: A gateway apparatus 1a includes: a holding unit 11a for holding address translation information capable of specifying a corresponding relationship of a substitutive address, which is set so as not to be duplicated between networks, and terminals 2a, 2b; a transmitting/receiving unit 12a for receiving a packet transmitted from the transmitting source terminal 2a under management; an address specifying unit 13a for specifying the substitutive address of the transmitting source terminal 2a by referring to the address translation information in the case where a destination address is a substitutive address of the terminal 2b belonging to a network under management of a gateway apparatus 1b; an address translating unit 14a for translating a transmitting source address of a packet from a real address of the transmitting source terminal 2a to the specified substitutive address; a VPN processing unit 15a for encapsulating the address-translated packet; and the transmitting/receiving unit 12a for transmitting the encapsulated packet to the gateway apparatus 1b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
