<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a user operation for reproducing animation thumbnails at the normal reproduction rate of video contents, and to reproduce and display the animation thumbnails in the number as large as possible in a limited resource at the normal reproduction rate when the animation thumbnails of the video contents are displayed on a table. <P>SOLUTION: A decoding control part 14 of a video-content reproduction device 1 decides whether a delay is generated on the basis of the quantity of the delay at a decoding-completion time to a predetermined time regarding the display or decoding of dynamic-image stream data at each video content. The decoding control part 14 controls a decoding operation in a dynamic-image decoder 13 in a normal reproduction mode decoding all dynamic-image stream data input regarding the video contents having no delay and in a slow reproduction mode making a decoding throughput per a unit time lower than the case of the normal reproduction mode and conducting the decoding or a skip reproduction mode decoding only a partial dynamic-image stream data in the input data regarding the video contents having the delay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
