ISOLATOR PROTECTION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and homogeneously perform fastening operation of a bolt or nut of an isolator protection device by simple operation while securing the locking effect of the fastened bolt or nut. SOLUTION: The isolator protection device 2 includes a lower flange 9 fixed to an isolator provided between a foundation and a structure on the foundation; an elastic body 20 which is elastically deformed, when the lower flange 9 is displaced in a separating direction, by compressing force with a regulating plate 26; and a bolt 27 which regulates the position of the regulating plate 26 to the foundation. Projections 22 are provided on a first surface 20a and a second surface 20b which are the lower surface and upper surface of the elastic body 20. In a fastening step of the bolt 27, when fastening torque is sharply increased in contact of the first surface 20a with the lower flange 9 and contact of the second surface 20b with the regulating plate 26 by elastic deformation of the projections 22, the fastening step is completed.
