PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch over to a dwelling process from an injection process at appropriate timing. SOLUTION: This injection molding machine 1 includes an injection member 20 provided in a cylinder member 21 to be rotatable and axially movable forward; a driving means 11 advancing the injection member; a control means 26 controlling the driving means; and a resin pressure detecting means 18 detecting the pressure of resin. The control means is configured to control speed for controlling the driving means to advance the injection member in a predetermined speed pattern in an injection process, and control pressure for controlling the driving means to keep the pressure of resin on the advance side of the injection member to a set pressure in the dwelling process. The control means switches over to the pressure control from the speed control when the pressure detected by the resin pressure detecting means reaches a predetermined pressure.
