PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to operate a pop-up menu and a graphic menu in the same way in an HDMV mode and a BD-J mode. SOLUTION: A disk display device includes a signal processing means 15 receiving a user operation to a touch panel 46 integrated with a monitor 43. The signal processing means 15 transmits the user operation to the touch panel 46 as a mouse event to a BD-J application and then, when it receives a mouse event error from the BD-J application, it issues a VK_POPUP_MENU to the BD-J application.
