PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger improving heat exchange efficiency while reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes: a distribution header 241 inside which a distribution flow passage 2412 making a refrigerant made to flow in from one end pass toward the closed other end along the horizontal direction; and a plurality of refrigerant pipes 243 each of which has a refrigerant passage 2431 extended along the vertical direction and in which upper end openings 2431a each serving as an inlet of the refrigerant passage 2431 are mounted to the lower part of the distribution header 241 at predetermined intervals from one end toward the other end of the distribution header 241 in a form facing the distribution flow passage 2412. The heat exchanger distributes a refrigerant from the distribution header 241 to the refrigerant passages 2431 of the respective refrigerant pipes 243, and exchanges heat between a refrigerant made to pass through the refrigerant passage 2431 and fluid made to pass around the heat exchanger. A refrigerant inflow pipe 2411 inclined from the extending direction of the distribution header 241 and making the refrigerant flow in is arranged in the distribution header 241.
