<p>The disclosed information processing device, wherein a central processing unit collects state information for a plurality of input/output devices, simultaneously collects state information for multiple input/output devices. A central processing unit (2) and a plurality of input/output devices (5-0 - 5-2) are connected by a bridge circuit (30) which can create a multicast function. DMA circuits (50) are provided in the input/output devices (5-0 - 5-2), and the multicast function is used to implement a start instruction for DMA transfer to the input/output devices. The simultaneous state of the input/output devices can be copied because the DMA transfer start instructions are carried out almost simultaneously, and the time required for register read-out for each input/output device can be reduced.</p> |
